We would like to deeply thank all of the people who kindly contributed in our raffle. Thanks to your support we could pay for the expenses for our participation during the Circuits Bijoux from September 19th to 21st, 2013 in Paris, France.

The Bórax08001 collective is thrilled to announce that we will have 21 friend jewellers join us to carry out one of our interventions within Les Circuits Bijoux in Paris, France. This intervention will take place on September 20th at 3:30 p.m, starting at the metro station Étienne Marcel.

September 13th, 2013 is a very important date for Bórax08001 since we celebrate one more year of working together as a collective.

These three great years have been filled with moments that have allowed personal and group growth and we feel privileged of having lived, as a group, enriching experiences that have contributed to our activity as art jewellery creators.

We would like to thank all of the people that have believed in Bórax08001 and thus have given their support for our projects!

It has been a wonderful journey and we wish for many more to come!

The Bórax08001 collective will soon travel to the City of Light to continue with our project Jewellery Displaced in Paris. This event will take place within Les Circuits Bijoux, an initiative of great magnitude that encompasses the whole city of Paris and is organized by les Ateliers d’Art de France.

We invite you to come out with us on the streets of Paris wearing a jewel, from September 19-21!

On Thursday, September, 19 from 5:30- 7:00p.m we will carry-out an intervention called “What does your dream jewel look like?” at le Jardin des Tuileries (see map 1).

On Friday, September, 20 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., Bórax08001 and Friends (the collective and about 20 guest jewellers) will carry-out a series of interventions that will begin at the Étienne Marcel metro station and will extend to the adjacent streets (see map 2).

On Friday, September 21 a summary of the interventions made on the previous days will be projected at the bar L’Acte 3 (94 Rue Quincampoix 75003, Paris). We will also hold the Bórax08001 Tómbola at 9:30 p.m, where we will raffle one jewel handcrafted by each one of us: 10 jewels in total.

Our jewellery pieces will also be exhibited at the bar L’Acte 3, from September 19 to 21 and can be visited from 6:00 p.m to 2:00 a.m on these three days.

Map 2 – Detailed itinerary of Bórax08001 & Friends interventions on September 20th

The Bórax08001 Tombola has begun.

What is it? Simple: 10 jewels by 10 artists for 10 Euros.

When is it? September 21, 2013.

Where is it? At D’un bijou à l’autre circuit in Paris, France.

Why? The purpose of this raffle is to raise funds in order to give continuity to the projects we have been carrying out since we founded the collective in 2010. By contributing to this cause, you will support us in spreading contemporary jewellery beyond its current artistic, technical and social limits.

How? Visit the Tombola website or click on the tab on the right-hand side of our official website. By making a 10 Euro donation you enter the raffle and can win one of the ten pieces of jewellery made by each one of the Bórax08001 members.

The Bórax08001 collective cordially invites you to their upcoming exhibition which will take place at the Deutsches Goldschmiedehaus Hanau museum in Germany. The opening will be on March 14th, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. and the exhibition will be open until April 28, 2013. Hope to see you there!
