SCHMUCK is the eldest exhibition of contemporary jewellery work in the world. This event has taken place since 1956 and is in deed one of the most prestigious call for entries in this field. Each year, a specialized curator chooses a selected group of artists that will participate in the show. About 60 artists are chosen from a large number of candidates many of which are already acclaimed artists. This exhibition is visited by people from all over the world.
SCHMUCK 2011 can be visited from the 16th-22nd at The International Trade Fair for Skilled Trades in Munich, Germany. The awards ceremony will be held on March 19th.
